Anger Management Flyer
Join us for a 12-week course designed to help you learn to manage anger. Learn strategies to reduce anger once it flares. Increase awareness of the role that anger plays in your life. Identify trigger thoughts and learn early warning signs. Learn what happens in your brain and body when you experience anger.

ELIGIBILITY: This course is taught by a certified Anger Management Specialist and meets the requirements for those who are court mandated to attend a course. Participants must be at least 18 years old in order to attend.

An outpatient drug and alcohol treatment program, designed for youth ages 12-18 and their families, is available through SLO Drug and Alcohol Services. In the Youth and Family Program, families can participate in 4- 6 hours of treatment per week; this includes: group counseling, family counseling, drug education, parenting education, and multi-family sessions. Evening hours are available.
San Luis Obispo County Drug and Alcohol Services offers POEG, Perinatal Outpatient Extended Group, a treatment program for addicted women who are pregnant and/or have young children. The therapy group helps women with recovery, parenting skills, relationships and other issues.

The heartache of loss and the burden of serious illness is often eased by participation in a caring, supportive environment and the opportunity to join in sharing with others. All groups are facilitated by trained Hospice of SLO County leaders. Exchanging coping information and expressing the feelings that comes in anticipating or coping with a death or illness helps in promoting healing.
