Building Enduring Ties that Enrich Relationships (B.E.T.T.E.R.), a program provided by the Women’s Community Center of San Luis Obispo County, supports noncustodial parents who want to see their children, but can’t afford to because of the enormous cost of supervised visits.
Noncustodial parents may call B.E.T.T.E.R at 544-9313 to set up an appointment. If qualified for services, WCC will pair the parent with a volunteer monitor who will coordinate visitation dates/times and pick-up/drop-off locations. The monitor stays on-site during the visit.
B.E.T.T.E.R is sanctioned by the courts.
